Tribology and Materials is an open access peer reviewed international scientific journal, established in 2022. It publishes original experimental and theoretical studies and review articles in all aspects of tribology and materials science and engineering. The journal does not charge any manuscript submission, processing or publishing fees.
Aims and Scope: The aim of the Tribology and Materials journal is to facilitate the global exchange of up-to-date information among researchers in relevant fields through the publication of high-quality papers on all aspects of tribology and materials research and application. The scope of the journal includes: Friction; Wear; Surface engineering; Coatings and coating tribology; Surface and materials characterisation; Metals and alloys; Ceramics; Polymers; Composites; Biomimetic materials; Corrosion; Lubricants and lubrication; Design and maintenance; Manufacturing processes and materials; Transportation engineering; Nanotribology and nanomaterials.
Peer review and plagiarism: Peer review is of single blind type (the author does not know the identity of the reviewer), and all submitted papers are checked for plagiarism with Plagiarism Checker X anti-plagiarism software, before peer review.
Copyright policy: Authors retain the copyright of the published papers.
